Benjamin Vilbert, M.D.
Vice-President of Eye Care for the Adirondacks
Dr. Vilbert is a board certified ophthalmologist and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He received his medical degree at Temple University Medical School where he also completed his ophthalmology residency. Dr. Vilbert was in private practice in Delaware prior to joining Eye Care for the Adirondacks in 1993 as a partner.
Dr. Vilbert provides medical and surgical treatments of the eye, including cataract surgery, laser vision correction, Refractive Surgery, and oculoplastics. Patients can be scheduled to see him at Eye Care for the Adirondack's 450 Margaret Street office in Plattsburgh, NY or at other office locations in Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake.
Dr. Vilbert performs most of his surgery at Cataract Center for the Adirondacks, an independent ambulatory surgery center affiliated with and located adjacent to the 450 Margaret Street Practice.
Dr. Vilbert is a staff member at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital Medical Center. He holds medical licenses in the State of New York, Vermont, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.
